Belgian-Dutch Algebraic Geometry seminar

Announcing the special edition of the Belgian-Dutch Algebraic Geometry seminar, to be held on September 20-21 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, on the occasion of the 50th birthday of Ben Moonen.

There will be seven talks, by Piotr Achinger, Kestutis Cesnavicius, Ching-Li Chai, Victoria Hoskins, Richard Thomas, Claire Voisin and Jörg Wildeshaus.

For more details, please take a look at the webpage:

www.ru.nl/math/bdags

where you will find titles, abstracts & schedule, together with practical information.

Two important remarks:

(1) Registration is compulsory. Participation is free and includes coffee breaks and lunch on Friday, but there is a fee for the conference dinner on Thursday.

(2) If you want to sleep in Nijmegen on Thursday night, then we recommend organizing accommodation sooner rather than later; due to other (non-scientific) events in Nijmegen during the same week. Hotels could be quite full!

Organizers: Nero Budur, Bas Edixhoven, Erik Koelink, Johannes Nicaise, Frans Oort, Arne Smeets & Lenny Taelman
